This is what Z brought home from primary the other day. I took it as a definite confirmation that she is AWESOME!

New Toy

One thing I love about Z is how her creativity and artistic endeavors are sparked by things in her environment, particular either a new toy, or whichever old toy she is most enjoying at the time. Last week she and Clive each bought (with their own money) a new stuffed animal at the craft store. Z's is a husky named, according to its tag, Slush, but she changed her name to Slushy.

Not quite. But it is all about octopi. Kind of fitting for October, don't you think?

Flower Royalty

She started on the back (which you can see) but then started again. I especially love the guitar-playing flower, the clapping flower, and the little princess flower. Even the sky has a face (just to the right of King Flower). I told her that I love how she comes up with such neat things to draw and asked her how she comes up with her ideas. She said that she first thinks of a story. Pretty amazing creative brain this girl has.
