Drawing Class Final Project

My favorite part of the Drawing, Sculpting and Animation class has been drawing!  I LOVE MY BAMBOO TABLET! We just got Sketchbook Pro and I am so excited because now I can save layers in my drawings so it will be easier to work on them later.  I have been working on my cats drawings because I am very interested in the Warriors series right now and it is fun to draw the characters in the book and to make up my own characters as well.  This class has been so good for me because it has helped me take my skills to the next level.  I really love drawing and so drawing on the computer is awesome because it is even easier to share my work with others now.

Math Cake

Zion finished her Primer math book this past week and I wanted to do something special to celebrate. She opted to have a cake, as she LOVES cake. (She had a "100 Cake" when she mastered counting to 100 by herself, too.) She's doing really well with her math studies. We use the Math U See curriculum and I think it is great. It does a great job of cementing the reality of numbers, which I think is often lost when kids just memorize math facts. This week she starts the Alpha set. Whoo hoo!!

my rat Tom

One nice thing about homeschool is I can have Tom with me. He likes to hang out in his basket while I do my school.
